Analyzing Systemic Racism Workshop: October 20-22

Presented by Crossroads Anti-Racism Organizing and Training at the Cardinal Meyer Center, this 2½ day workshop will explore the historical development of racism; how it is perpetuated in institutions and manifests itself in our culture; and how it affects both people of color and white people. Anyone who is open to learning about historical and institutional racism is welcome.

The workshop, which costs $70 for people affiliated with the diocese and $225 for others, is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Office of Racial Justice, the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago’s Anti-Racism Commission, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Metro Chicago Synod’s Anti-Racism Team.

Register online here by October 17. For more information, please talk with Anti-Racism Commission members Gary Cox or Miguel Briones.
